Design build construction of MTO Patrol Yard at the intersection of Highways 401 and 418. The project’s main features include an Office/Maintenance Garage building, and a Material (ie. salt and sand) Storage building. The new Office/Maintenance Garage building will be a single-storey structure with a single wash bay and three repair bays. The building will also contain an office area, lunchroom, showers, universal washroom and back of house areas that support the function of the Office/Maintenance Garage building. The Project will also include an indoor unheated building providing for the storage and loading of brine, salt and sand, an outdoor covered vehicle storage area, a designated Sand Camp area, a dedicated vehicle fuelling area, asphalt and concrete pavement, staff/visitor parking and outdoor equipment parking, site services including well and sanitary septic systems, illumination / electrical requirements for indoor and outdoor lighting and power distribution system, landscaping, and drainage features including stormwater management.
